This page is dedicated to my mom
Sarah Edna Scritchfield Baughman
She was born September 19, 1917
in Glover Gap West Virginia
her dads name was Lindsey Scritchfield
and her moms name was Minnie.

She passed away on June 26 1984.
My mom was a special person
she had a very hard life when she was young
and she married my dad October 7th 1946.
She had many friends
and she attended the Langeloth Church of Christ
when she was able due to her health problems.
We were best of friends and I love her
and miss her so very much,
we would spend hours
talking on the phone and laughing.
All my life I was very close to my mom
and she always seemed to back me when I needed it.
She was an upstanding person in our community
and she made friends very easy.
When she was dying
my mom kept quoting the 23 rd. Psalms word for word.
I know that she in the lords hands
safe and secure
and I know that one day I will see her face again
and until that day I placed her picture here as a memorial to her.

I love you mom and miss you so much.

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want,
He maketh me lie down in green pastures:
He restoreth my soul;
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me:
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me,
thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies,
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over,
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
